A quick method for analyzing Hartmann-Shack patterns: application to refractive surgery.
نویسنده
چکیده
A quick method to analyze the Hartmann-Shack pattern was developed. This method allows us to study the limitations of the system and to determine how to improve its capacity to measure a large range of aberration. It can treat situations presenting difficulty when analyzing a detected pattern. An application to eyes with large amounts of aberration due to corneal surgery is considered.

Early clinical outcomes of wavefront-guided myopic LASIK treatments using a new-generation hartmann-shack aberrometer.
PURPOSE To provide an initial retrospective evaluation of early postoperative outcomes after wavefront-guided myopic LASIK using a new-generation Hartmann-Shack wavefront sensor. METHODS A noncomparative, retrospective study of 243 eyes of 126 patients that underwent primary wavefront-guided LASIK, using wavefront data obtained with a new Hartmann-Shack aberrometer (iDesign Advanced WaveScan ...
متن کاملAnalysis of Refractive errors in the human eye using Shack Hartmann Aberrometry
The refractive errors of normal, healthy eyes were measured using an indigenously developed Shack Hartmann aberrometer. Measurement was made in both right and left eyes after dilation for a 6mm pupil size. Power vector method was used to represent the sphero cylindrical errors. Analysis was done for astigmatism with the rule, oblique astigmatism and defocus between the right and left eyes of th...
متن کاملCause of monocular diplopia diagnosed by combining double-pass retinal image assessment and Hartmann-Shack aberrometry.
PURPOSE To report an advanced optical procedure developed for the diagnosis of a particular case of diplopia. METHODS This approach combined the quantification of the level of intraocular scattering by using an Objective Scatter Index provided by a double-pass instrument (Optical Quality Analysis System) with the analysis of higher order aberrations using a Hartmann-Shack wavefront sensor. ...

PURPOSE To evaluate refractive and visual outcomes of wavefront-guided laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) to correct high myopia using a new Hartmann-Shack aberrometer. SETTING Optical Express, Glasgow, United Kingdom. DESIGN Retrospective noncomparative case series. متن کاملRAYS (Render As You See): Vision-Realistic Rendering Using Hartmann-Shack Wavefront Aberrations
RAYS (Render As You See) is a system for “vision-realistic rendering” which can simulate the vision of actual patients. Patient data is derived from sensors, called Hartmann-Shack devices, that capture the wavefront aberrations present in the patient’s entire optical pathway of a single point source of light in the retina. The input to RAYS is an image, corresponding depth information, and a wa...
